  1. iF Awards
  • iF design award is one of the most prestigious awards that design students all around the world aspire to achieve. It is a globally acknowledged trademark when looked at as an excellent design. The iF brand is internationally identified as a symbol of design excellence. The award is one of the most important design prizes in the world. It praises design accomplishments in all domains: product, packaging, communication and service design, architecture and interior architecture, as well as user interface (UI), user experience (UX) and professional concept.
  • The iF Industrial Forum Design is joined by other design professional organisations around the world to increase public awareness about design. Designers who are members of the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA), Verband Deutscher Industrie Designer (VDID), and the International Council of Societies of Industrial Design (ICSID) are just a few of the international communities that enter the iF Product Design competition.
  • Introduced in 1954
  • holds more than 5,500 entries from roughly 59 nations every year
  • The iF SOCIAL IMPACT PRIZE supports projects that contribute to improving our society. If a company is working towards achieving one or more of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, then the firm is eligible.
  • Winners of the iF award get their designs validated at a global level, it allows them to create a unique selling point and a differentiation point, an opportunity of developing good public relations is given, and the product is protected as the industry now knows who made the product first, hence no other company will be able to take the credit.
  • One hundred thirty-two high-profile design experts from over 20 countries make up iF’s jury panel. Their task: find and award the submissions with the greatest innovative power – and perhaps discover the next rising star in design. Our new jury process is based on a redesigned jury structure. From now on, the Chairpersons will guide all jury groups.
